identity
People say a picture is worth a thousand words. This is a picture of me that represents me as a senior which has lots of symbols. In this picture I place my hand on my shoulder with a religious bracelet on my wrist. This shows that I want to have a strong faith all my life and be able to make the right decisions. Also, I am wearing glasses to show education, and the earrings I am wearing are dream catchers because I want to be someone who never stops following my dreams. As a senior, I want to be happy and confident. I want to go through life with my glass half full.
Griet in the Girl With a Pearl Earring is a strong mature young girl. She makes many hard decisions and is mature in so many ways. (page 45) "She will rest for a few days. Can you manage without her?" I chose with quote because, just like Griet, I don't want to work my life away and become invested in worldly objects I want to be strong enough to stand up for myself and say when I need a break.
(page 106) "She wont need a key" I, personally, interpreted this quote differently than others might have, but I feel I want to leave every door open I don't want to be some one who moves on but forgets about the past or in other words closes the door. I want to leave foot steps in my life where I will be remembered and will never regret my decisions. Everyone sees life differently but you just have to live life to the fullest, from your perspective, and I hope as a senior I am a confident, happy girl who knows where she wants life to take her.
